"I will sing of steadfast love and justice; to you, O Lord, I will make music." Psalm 101:1

It seems appropriate that the gospel reading for this Sunday would reflect on the end times and very much like last weekend Jesus reminds us to prepare ourselves for this is most certainly life after death and hope for salvation, a promise of life everlasting. Likewise, as we come near the end of this liturgical calendar year, it is fitting that the last few gospel readings gives us a reality check to know that our lives on earth is short lived but we must follow in His path and seek his eternal wisdom so that we are prepared for Advent; the joyous reminder that He is born for man and we will relive His moments up to the cross.
Do I continue to meet my responsibilities even during difficult times? How can I bring myself to hope for healing justice in the midst of terrible events?
