14th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Reflection

Mass Readings: http://www.usccb.org/bible/readings/070719.cfm

It is summertime, and this is often the time that we are traveling on vacations or visiting friends and family far and wide. There is similarities in the readings for this 14th Sunday in Ordinary Time. Jesus sent out pairs of men to go travel offering peace to everyone. This is a key in that we are reminded of this every time we celebrate Mass.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ
be with your spirit, brothers and sisters. Amen.

Galatians 6:18

As we travel, let us be like these many before us who were tasked by Jesus to go and spread His word and with peace. Also, let this be a challenge to forgive others and ourselves so that we may be true in our offering of peace.

How can I share Christ’s peace with others? How can I respond when it is not reciprocated?
