"I will sing of steadfast love and justice; to you, O Lord, I will make music." Psalm 101:1

The readings for this weekend continue with Paul and Barnabas. It’s interesting to reflect and imagine how new everything was for them with their mission. John even reveals to us a new commandment that Jesus gives us. It is a simple request and most often one of the hardest. We must all choose to love on a continual basis. Even though Mother’s Day was celebrated this past weekend, let it serve as a reminder of how our Blessed Mother continually demonstrates her love for all of us. Let her be a model of how we can obey this new commandment together.
“I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you also should love one another. This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
John 13:34-35
