Reflection

Mass Readings: http://www.usccb.org/bible/readings/032419.cfm

God, indeed, is merciful and kind; we must simply turn to him and ask for forgiveness when we stumble on our journey. We are challenged each day to do the same for each and everyone. It is not always easy to forgive. Just like the fig tree mentioned in Jesus’s parable, we too are called to have faith. God will never abandon us even in times that we fail to let him into our lives, or turn our backs to one another.

How have you experienced God’s call in your own life? What has been your response? Where in your life, family, or parish is there a lack of fruit
being borne? How might you cultivate the ground to
encourage fruitfulness?
