"I will sing of steadfast love and justice; to you, O Lord, I will make music." Psalm 101:1

Faith, Truth, Commitment, and Love. From the very first reading we are invited to reflect on being called to live strong in your faith and be committed to His teachings; reminding us ultimately to love.
Jeremiah 1:5
The word of the LORD came to me, saying:
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I dedicated you,
a prophet to the nations I appointed you.
Jesus spoke in the synagogue and spoke of things that they were not willing to hear or understand. We are called to be strong in our faith and proclaim His word. And it is with love that we are equipped to approach all who seek to understand. The journey is not easy, but if we stay committed in our faith and allowing the Holy Spirit to walk with us, we can endure the challenges ahead.
