"I will sing of steadfast love and justice; to you, O Lord, I will make music." Psalm 101:1

We are one body! Yes, we are all parts of one body of the living Christ. That is what being Christian is all about. We walk among each other with a common bond, and that is what draws us together as human beings. The readings today definitely gives examples on how we are all connected, being significant parts of our Lord.
As much as it talks about being as one body, it is very much reminding us how special of an individual we are. We are free, we have choices, at the same time we are asked to listen intently. Laws give us guidance, and especially the laws given to us by the Holy Spirit. Listening is essential when considering how we fit into this idea of being many parts to a single body.
Be mindful of this vast community of Christians and even those who are not. We are all one body. Lift up those who are in distress, poor, or in need. Listen to the what the scriptures tell us and reflect on how this will help us in our journey to Him.
