This Sunday is in honor of our Holy family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. Now that we have experienced the Advent Season to welcome our Lord Jesus once again in our lives, we give focus to the family. We give honor to the blessed family of our Lord and the readings emphasize the importance of family and a model of expectations and how we should strive to dwell within our own families. Honor, obedience, compassion, and faith are very prevalent in the readings. Let us pray that we are able to live much like our Holy Family to grow deeper in our faith and understand the importance of living that faith within our families.
